I believe this is a great time for NFTs, perhaps counter-intuitively looking at timeline sentiment in recent times Yes, Opensea been fumbling the little NFT momentum there was, so far Yes, Punks are down like half a BTC in two weeks Ordinals on Bitcoin been grinding down for 18 months ish even and tbh that's the case pretty much across chains, with few exceptions But NFTs - especially real art & with real core communities - are not going to disappear off the face of the digital earth ever The reality is that there simply aren't that many real collectors out there This is true in the irl world & at this moment in history even more so in the digital art world So, assume that digital art isn't going away (easy assumption) then t's a great moment in history for the few collector buyers who are already here, to pick up relatively cheaper pieces from the much more prevalent pure speculators, who largely moved on / are moving on to different pastures Most collections won't really come back ever ofc, but that's neither here nor there many were way overvalued, speculatively but not fundamentally or for love of the collectible, anyway But the 🐐 tier ones will just grind up if zoom out over long enough time horizon, imho driven by a much more solid holder base which actually wants to hold these pieces Process which takes time (do the math if 2 pieces of a 5-10k or even smaller, per day, move into collector hands, net net) & this process & these times are to be enjoyed if you like to collect for the long haul 🟧
