Our gem of the week is @cemhah, who is currently breaking the internet with innovative physical sculptures that re-imagine his signature digital style. There may be a lot of spotlight on this artist already but it is warranted. Many artworks in this space take my breath away, but sometimes I just have to stop and admire the ways that humankind continues to innovate. This being one of those moments. Awe inspiring installation at the intersection of physical and digital fine art.

Released September 30th of 2024, "Big Bang!" depicts a human-like figure at the center of an ever-expanding burst of color. This reminds me of a prism and how it takes in pure light and disperses it outwards into the colors of the rainbow. The human at the center acts as a medium in which source energy can reach out from the void to breathe, think, and manifest life as we know it. The will to create is explosive.
Rewind back to May of 2021, and you quickly see that there is an experimental journey to discover that showcases the depth of Cemhah's creative ideas. The relatability of his concepts speaks just as loudly in less "produced" works. In "Cat Sleep", a hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation, I find myself relating to the experience of napping with my cat. As we fall deeper asleep, the way we adjust positions feels in sync. I become one with the cat nap energy. There is so much amazing and diverse work to discover here. I highly recommend an oldest to newest journey through Cemhah's objkt profile!
