1/7 The @solana proposal SIMD-0411 doubles the rate at which Solana’s inflation tapers, from –15% to –30% per year. The final target inflation of 1.5% remains unchanged, but the network achieves it three years earlier (2029 instead of 2032).
6/7 The Ethereum block gas limit hit 60 million gas at block number 23,880,151. The increase was triggered automatically after more than 50% of @ethereum validators signalled the increase.
Just a year after the community started pushing for higher gas limits, Ethereum is now running with a 60M block gas limit.
That’s a 2× increase in a single year — and it’s only the beginning.
