Katana architecture involves integrating multiple complex protocols across two layers (L1 Morpho/Yearn vaults and the L2 Katana ecosystem).
The downside here is that a system like this, composed of multiple interconnected, highly-technical components which has a significantly larger attack surface than a simpler monolithic chain or a standard L2.
If a bug should occur in the L1 yield-generating vault or a glitch shows up in the AggLayer's shared bridge, that could all lead to catastrophic failures.
