This release introduces essential fee subsidies and significant security improvements, replacing the existing v2.1 ahead of a full mainnet upgrade for Sonic's Pectra compatibility.
This applies to:
• Validators
• RPC providers
• Archive nodes
• Exchanges
• Other node operators
Once the upgrade is complete, your node will continue to operate on the current mainnet until the full transition occurs on November 3, 2025, at 15:00 CET.
The upgrade is compatible with previous versions.
